PC Heaven to PC Hell
All was going well with my computer until I thought the time came to upgrade my graphics card. Fairly straight forward I thought, apparently not.
I was going to go for a top of the range one, as I thought why not, plus it would last longer. Then I find that computers come with different power supplies units and mine wouldn't be strong enough, bugger. Then I find out you can get new ones with more power, sorted.....apparently not. I have a Dell, which I thought was a good make...... apparently not. Yes those bastards at Dell use a lot of bespoke kit so you cant easily upgrade your computer with non Dell parts, so a new PSU wouldn't fit, arse. So I have had to buy a cheaper graphics card that is rather rapidly becoming obsolete in the wake of games like Doom 3.
So next time I get a computer I'm going to build the bugger myself.
